Digital Artist Jer Thorp has produced a series of appealing visualizations depicting popular words, top organizations and personalities mentioned by The New York Times in different years between 1981 and 2001. Data was taken from the NYTimes Article Search API: developer.nytimes.com.The first image is a visualization of the frequency of the words 'regulation' and 'innovation' in New Yort Times articles since 1981, while the second highlights the main personalities and organizations, with corresponding ties, on the year 1984.
