Project Description:
Alexander Cheek has produced a stunningly complex and detailed family tree that covers 20 generations and goes back into the 15th century. As the author expalins: "This type of project has been done thousands of times over the years, but I think I have created a genealogical history that finally breaks the cliches".
This family tree stands at 120"x36" and is set in 8 point type. It was all handmade in Adobe Illustrator over a period of 4 months. Beginning on the left is a chronology giving immigration data and then arrowing into Alexander and his sister, then proceeding back through the generations to the right - some lines go into the 15th century and cover 20 generations.
