Project Description:
It can be hard to "follow the money", as the old adage goes, but this visualization by the Washington Post demonstrates how using network visualization techniques can be a powerful tool to understand complex corporate ties and donor money flows. Three major actors, the Tc4 Trust, Freedom Partners, and Center to Protect Patient Rights, in colored circles in the center, are connected to other groups, in gray along the outer edge. The connections have weight proportional to the amount of money donated.
